The 47th Annual Antiques and Uniques Festival is Saturday July 8, 2017. 100+ antiques vendors, crafters and specialty foods. Local foods barbeque tent. Nic & Wambach Creative Arts is participating and we can be found at tent/booth #14 near the main entrance! Our display features many historic sites and buildings in various size matted prints, note card sets, calendars, tote bags and throw pillows around the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Event is 10:00am until 4:00pm rain or shine... a great popular event - something for everyone!

Ockawamick School Alumni Follow Last Years Success With A Second Art Show

The opening event of last year’s Ockawamick Central School Reunion was a showcase of the artistic talent of its alumni at the Philmont Public Library. This year the group will show new work.

Abstract painter Christine Guarino, whose work is well represented in galleries and collections throughout the Northeast and graphic artist Richard Wambach, owner of the Wambach Communications Group in Dutchess County as well as award-winning photographer Ken Bovat, of Photo-Art by Ken Bovat in Claverack, whose photographs appear often in Columbia County venues, will be represented in the Alumni show. Steve Wildermuth, Catherine Harms, Susan Wildermuth Bues and Brian Yorck will display paintings, drawings and photographs.

Each is active in local arts organizations such as the Columbia County Photography Club, Columbia County Council on the Arts, and show their work in solo and group.

45th Annual Antiques and Uniques Festival,
Saturday July 11, 2015 10am - 4pm

When people outside of New England imagine quaint country villages, community spirit, and summer gatherings they are likely imagining something similar to Antiques and Uniques Festival. Festival goers of all ages come to enjoy shopping for antiques and Vermont crafts, sampling local and artisan food and drink and picnicing outside of the barbecue tent. All of this to a live folk and fiddle musical backdrop- it doesn’t get any more country-sweet than that!

Antiques and Uniques Festival has been held the second Saturday in July every year since 1971 on Craftsbury Common Vermont. Originally started by the Children’s Aid foundation Antiques and Uniques Festival quickly became a well-loved event for those living in Craftsbury, the neighboring towns and tourists. Artist Richard Wambach To Show With Fellow Alumni

The Ockawamick Central School (OCS) Alumni Reuniion Art Show will run from May 25 through June 27, 2015. Opening reception is May 25 (Memorial Day) at 10:30am at Philmont Public Library, Main Street, Philmont, NY . Exhibit will include drawings, paintings and photographs by Ken Bovat, Susan Bues, Christine Guarino, Peter Von Sholly, Richard Wambach, Steve Wildermuth and Brian Yorck.

The following short bio is about FFA artist Richard Wambach, Alumni Class of 1965:

Richard is a graphic designer and owner of Wambach Communications Group, Inc., a marketing and creative services agency for 43 years. He started Nic & Wambach Creative Arts with business partner Nic VH in 2012 specifically to create portfolios of black and white drawings of historic scenes in the Hudson Valley, NY and Northeast Kingdom, VT.

He credits Mrs. Knicke, his high school art teacher, with encouraging him to seek a career as a “commercial artist” (in 1965 people said an artist was a hippie,...

Wambach Creates Brownington Museum Series

Richard Wambach of Nic & Wambach Creative Arts set out to create the series of eight drawings this summer in time for the Annual Old Stone House Museum day in August 2014. This important series depicts the structures that comprise the Old Stone House Museum village in Brownington Center, Brownington, Vermont. The Orleans County Historical Society is responsible for the ongoing upkeep and educational programming that is active year round at this beautiful historic site. The images include: The Old Stone House, The Alexander Twilight House, The Lawrence Barn, Museum Education Center, Cyrus Eaton House, Samuel Read Hall House, Brownington Congregational Church and Prospect Hill Observatory Tower. Wambach Displays At Vermont Arts And Crafts Fair

Nic & Wambach Creative Arts display booth inside the Elks Club in Derby VT will feature Wambach's drawings around the Northeast Kingdom including barns, covered bridges, sugar houses, more Vermont scenics and other historical architecture subjects from the Hudson Valley of New York to Vermont. Wambach will introduce a new line of high quality T-Shirts featuring his drawing of Vermont Silly Cow - "I Love Vermont! Moo too?" He will also be unveiling his newest series of Vermont drawings in a collection of Brownington Stonehouse Museum images which will be available as matted prints in various sizes and a set of six note cards with envelopes. The Dailey Memorial Library 4th annual event is a premier arts and crafts fair in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont featuring arts and crafts showcasing the talents of artisans and craftspeople of Vermont products. All proceeds raised goes to support the Dailey Memorial Library. Open to the public. The fair will be held "rain or shine."

Wambach Outdoor Gallery At Hyde Park Car Show

Nic and Wambach Creative Arts welcomes visitors to their outdoor gallery featuring Wambach's drawings of classic and antique automobiles and local historic scenics and architecture at the 5th Annual Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce Car Show and Street Fair. Wambach offers car owners at the show an opportunity to commission him to draw their "pride and joy" in his unique style of black and white line and wash. The event is a community and family oriented Sunday event showcasing all categories of collectible automobiles and trucks including judging with many awards and trophies in many categories. Street fair includes musical entertainment, arts and crafts, local business displays and food vendors for a most enjoyable outing. No charge to the public to enter.

Wambach Exhibits At Red Hook Farmers Market

Richard Wambach, Nic & Wambach Creative Arts, will be the featured business display at the opening day of the Village of Red Hook Farmer's Market scheduled from 10:00am until 2:00pm on Saturday, May 24, 2014. The market is held every Saturday from May to October and features local produce and products, crafts exhibits, business exhibits and entertainment.

Artists Reception For Richard Wambach Slated

Richard Wambach, Nic & Wambach Creative Arts, will have an artist's reception at his exhibit entitled "From Valley to Vermont", in the Hyde Park Free Library Annex Gallery on Wednesday, May 21 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Light refreshments will be served. The reception is open to the general public.

Wambach Art Featured At Hyde Park Free Library Annex Gallery

Artist Richard Wambach will hang his one-man show at the Hyde Park Free Library Annex Gallery on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The show will run through mid-June with an artist's reception mid-way to be announced. Wambach's displays will include his recent Hyde Park historic scenes, Hudson Valley rural landscapes and landmarks, Vermont's Northeast Kingdom covered bridges, barns and sugar houses and a few retro pieces from his 1970s North Carolina Outer Banks collection.

Admission is free. All digital prints being displayed are for sale. The annex gallery is also home to weekend events such as open mic music sessions, intimate performances of local well know music personalities, poetry readings and book signings. Check the Hyde Park Free Library web site for hours of operation and complete schedule of events.
