Siskin/Coutts-Moriarty Camp - Coutts brings an 80 year tradition of providing high quality camp experiences that allow campers to make new friends and grow in self-esteem & self-confidence. Located in Derby, Vermont on Lake Salem, Coutts takes full advantage of the incredible outdoors.
Coutts-Moriarty Camp got its start in the early 1930's when Flora Coutts, Orleans Country's first 4-H extension agent, began work on finding a permanent home for the 4-H club summer camp. The Town of Derby came forward with an offer to lease some waterfront land on Lake Salam. The following year construction began on the dinning hall shown in the drawing. When first built this building served as the dinning hall, indoor recreation hall and upstairs sleeping quarters for the campers.
In the early 1960's 35 acres adjacent to the camp was donated. A road was built and construction began on a bunk house. This project was due to the tireless work of Marion Moriarty. Thus the name Coutts-Moriarty...

The unusual collaboration of a former Insurance Auditor and Marketing Professional has led to the creation of Nic & Wambach Creative Arts. Nicole and Dick both share a love of the wonders of the Hudson River Valley outdoors: scenic vistas, historic places and homes, businesses and activities make up our great valley communities. Looking through Dick’s collection of 1970s Ocracoke, North Carolina scenic drawings, they decided Wambach should take up drawing in earnest again. Nicole, who enjoys driving her Camaro road touring around the region, began photographing locations with Dick a few months ago.
